The Dripping Piano
I walk down the dark corridor as I explore the ship. The bends and bows of the motion in which the ship sways, I thank god for the fact that I do not get motion sickness. I decided to detach myself from the masses and explore the place that would house us on a temporary basis. I love waters and the seas, and even at dark this scenery…I am drawn in the dark abyss of the waters hitting the ship and passing us. There is a fear of falling over or in, but I only imagine what could be beneath. Imagining worlds underwater and the life that lives in it. What could they be doing at this time of day? Who comes out during this time?
I started to think of exploring the ship when I was watching the depths in the black of night at the bow. Everyone is doing all kinds of activities: drinking, talking, dancing, all kinds of games, but I would rather watch what surrounds us all. Sure, these activities are fun to engage in, but there is a sense of ease with just watching the environment and life live around you. And the wind….the sea air. Its refreshing and relaxing. I knew it would not be long until I found the people’s company to be impertinent, and I knew I would be if someone would try to talk to me. I can hear it now: “Come join us! Don’t be here all alone by yourself, comes enjoy the fun!” THIS is fun to me. I heave a sigh, and as if to foretell the future, a man starts to make his way towards me. I zip away and head…
